The Down midfield pairing of Andy Savage and Brendan McGourty so vital to the Down side, will be back scrapping for sliotar on Sunday, 3rd of June when they compete with holders Antrim in the Ulster SHC final at Casement Park, Belfast.

The Mourne county midfield duo will try and gain an edge on the champions in this vital sector.

“That’s what you are there for. You have to work hard and get up and down the field, just as normal,’’ says Andy.

From 2.15 throw-in on Sunday expect no less from this talented and hard-working pairing.

“We will give it our best shot. This will be my fourth Ulster final. I have yet to win one, but with a bit of luck we will get one this Sunday and the Derry replay will stand us in good stead,’’ concluded the versatile Andy Savage.
