Down ace attacker Benny Coulter believes
the Mourne County’s work ethic could
well see them enjoying a prolonged run in
this year’s All-Ireland SFC race.
Coulter starred last weekend as the Ulstermen
put Laois to the sword at O’Moore
Park and the veteran forward is eager to
keep his county on track for Croke Park.
"Ross (Carr) has had a huge input
into this team and when we move the ball
around we always play well," said the
Mayobridge star.
"If we keep the momentum going we can
get some more good results because we have
certainly been working hard.
"The boys on the pitch (against Laois)
were fantastic. Brendan McVeigh pulled off
a fine save. We have a good squad with good
strength-in-depth and we’ll not be
fearful of our opponents (Wexford) next
weekend."
