U14 Football School of Excellence

Over 80 boys from both South and East down have took part in a blitz tournment over the past two weekends.

On Saturday past in the glorious sunshine in St John's parents and supporters were treated to a feast of excellent and entertaining football from these young up and coming stars.

The games played were competitive and a lot of skill was shown by all teams . Both divisional boards would like to thank St Johns and Glasdrumman for the use of facilities and thanks also to all of the clubs who have given their facilities to date for the developing of these squads.

Thanks also to all coaches that have given up their time freely to work with these players.

The next stages of the U14 Football school of excellence will take place in South Down on Saturday 14th June in Ballyholland at 10.00am and East Down will take place in Newcastle on the same date at 11.00am. More details of players requested to attend will follow next week.
