The Down U-21 footballers under the guidance of former Down All-Ireland winning team-manager, Peter McGrath commence their Ulster championship game on Wednesday night, March 19th with a home game against Antrim in Pairc Esler in Newry.

Over the past few months the Down side have prepared well for this championship, and hopes are high in the camp that they will have a successful run this season. On form, they should be too strong for visiting Antrim in this opener on Wednesday night.
