Down GAA VHI Summer Camps

Down GAA County Board are looking for Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the Down GAA VHI Summer Camps which will be taking place at various venues throughout the county this summer.

This year there are two categories of employment, Coach and Assistant Coach. People interested in becoming Coaches in the Summer Camps should have at least completed a GAA Foundation Level and be willing to undergo all Child Protection Courses if they have not already done so. Assistant Coaches must be between the ages of 16 and 18 and have an expressed interest in Coaching Gaelic Games.

In total there will be 36 camps in Down this year and the Camps commence in the first week of July and continue until the last week in August.

People interested in coaching Gaelic Games and want to be part of the Down GAA Summer Camps 2008 can download an application form from the Down GAA Website (www.downgaa.net/culcamps). Application forms should be returned to cam@down.gaa.ie or to Sean Og McAteer, Down County Administration Manager, Down GAA Offices, 17 Newcastle Road, Castlewellan, Co Down by Wednesday 4th June 2008.
