Down's fixtures for the second phase of the Allianz National Hurling League have been confirmed.

Unlike last year, teams will not carry forward their points from the first phase.

The top section of Div 1 features Galway, Clare, Waterford, Cork, Tipperary and Limerick and the top two teams from this group will play in the 2004 Allianz league Division 1 final on May 9.

The lower section features Kilkenny, Laois, Dublin, Offaly, Wexford and Antrim and the team which finishes last in this group will face relegation to Division 2 for 2005.

The two highest finishing sides in the top section of Division 2 will go through to the Division 2 league final (also to be played on May 9). The teams that finished outside the top half of the table after phase 1 meet on April 11 to decide who will enter the Round Robin relegation play-off with London. The team who finishes lowest in this Round Robin will play in Div 3 in 2005.

The second phase fixtures for Div 3 cannot be confirmed until the result of the outstanding game between Fermanagh and Tyrone on April 4th is known (the game was postponed due to the death of Fermanagh and Ulster official John Vesey).
