Dorrian out of Mourne Side to face New York this Evening
Ulster Hurling Championship: Down v New York

Down's left corner back Emmett Dorrian has been forced to withdraw from the team to face New York in Sunday's Guinness Ulster SHC semi-final at Gaelic Park after picking up a late injury.

Dorrian pulled a hamstring in training at Randal's Island on Friday and will not now be part of the starting line-up. Manager John Crossey has not yet decided on a replacement and is not likely to reveal him until just before throw-in.

Michael Braniff, Ryan Conlon or James Henry Hughes are all possible candidates, and some positional re-jigging may be done to facilitate the change.

Meanwhile, Paul Braniff arrived in New York on Friday to join his team mates. Braniff's arrival was delayed as the UUJ engineering student was sitting exams until Thursday.

Down (SH v New York): G Clarke; L Clarke, S Murray, AN Other, S Wilson, G Savage, G Clarke; A Savage, G Adair; G McGrattan, P Braniff, B McGourty; M Coulter, G Johnson, J Convery.
