St Eunan's Letterkenny defeated Bredagh ladies 2 - 11 to 2 - 07 in the Ulster Semi Final at Downpatrick on Sunday.

St Eunan's played some great football, showing more power in attack and were the much sharper team. Their victory would have been greater had they possessed even more accuracy in attack especially in the first half when they missed two points when it looked easier to score than miss.

The Down side were given a lifeline when Joanne Lavery goaled from the penalty spot. This insired Bredagh with Martina McCafferty lobbing over three points, with Geraldine Grimley scoreing two and Joanne Lavery scoreing one point to leave the half time scores 1 - 06 to 1 - 03.

St Eunan's moved up a gear in the opening twenty minutes after the break and O'Donnell finished off a great move to score her second goal of the game. She also added four points in this opening twenty minutes. Ursula Rodden and Cathy McAteer added two more scores to leave the score 2 - 10 to 1- 06.

Breadgh responded with a lucky goal through Cathy Gallagher before both teams exchanged points to leave the final score 2 - 11 to 2 -07 in the Donegal sides favour. St Eunan's will meet Carrickmore in the Ulster Ladies Final.
