Bredagh Ladies to make Ulster Debut - 04/10/02

Belfast Ladies football side Bredagh make their Ulster Championship debut in Ulster championship this Sunday against St Eunan's Letterkenny at Downpatrick at 3 p.m..

Bredagh, the Down ladies senior football champions are a talented side, who defeated Newry Side Iveagh Bosco in the Down final 3 - 13 to 3 - 04. Bredagh have quality forwards in players like Joanne Lavery's, Geraldine Grimley and Lorraine McCaffrey, who should be able to split the Letterkenny sides defence. In defence they will be looking to Jacqui McAllister and Maura McArdle to break up any attacks which the Donegal side throw at them. The girls are deserving of good support on a game that hopefully they will win and take them to further glory in the provincial campaign in the coming weeks.
