LADIES GAELIC FOOTBALL

Ladies Update - 11th May 2004

The Senior, Intermediate and Junior leagues are now into their 2nd week. Bredagh lead the way in the Senior division with 2 wins under their belt, but expect Bosco and Castlewellan to make the challenge as the seasons unfolds. In the Intermediate Loughinisland, look unstoppable at the moment, but the surprise of the night was definitely the Clonduff win over visiting Bright. The yellows in their first Intermediate outing look to be well capable of holding their own in this division.

Newcomers Shamrocks are the pacesetters in the Junior league with max points from their two outings which included a moral boosting win over neighbours Saval on Saturday evening.

It is the responsibility of the home club to text/phone results to 07732460564 before 5pm on a Sunday.

There is a county board meeting on Thursday 13th May at 7:30pm in the Theraforth Inn Kilcoo, please make sure your club is represented.
