GAA 125th Anniversary
2009 will mark the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the GAA at Hayes’ Hotel in Thurles. The Association will be planning a series of events to commemorate this historic anniversary and a 125th Anniversary committee under the Chairmanship of former Armagh footballer Jarlath Burns has already been put in place.
