AIB Ulster GAA Club Junior Football Championship
Aughnislafin (Down) 0-07
Downings (Donegal) 0-11

Donegal champions Downings were too strong for Augnlisnafin in Pairc Esler yesterday afternoon, with Lorcan Connor to the fore in their four-point victory.

The first-half was a nightmare for the Down men, managing only the one point while Downings hit eight.  Connor had the visitors two up in the first two minutes before Shea Croskery got Aughlisnafin on the scoreboard after seven.
From theire until half-time, it was all Downings as Kyle McFadden, Kevin Doherty, Johnny McGroddy and Keelan McGroddy joined Connor on the scoresheet.

Downings began the second-half as they began the first, with a Connor point, but Croskery managed to register Aughlisnafin's second score shortly after.  Adam Garland then came into his own for the Down champions, helping to reduce the deficit to three with around six minutes to go.

Downings weren't in the mood to let their lead slip too much though, and a Connor free rounded off the scoring and a relatively comfortable afternoon for the visitors.
