MEMBERSHIP FOR 2017 – Final Call!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR ADULT PLAYERS AND NON-PLAYING ADULTS! MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR MEMBERSHIP PAID ASAP. ADULT PLAYERS CANNOT PLAY IF THEY are NOT REGISTERED BEFORE 31ST MARCH OR EARLIER IF COMPETITIONS BEGIN EARLIER! 
Final registration night - Wednesday 29th March @ 7.30pm in Clonduff Clubrooms!
Players, non-players, mentors, managers, helpers, committee members must be registered members of the club to be covered by GAA Insurance. If you want to be involved, have a say at the AGM or acquire Championship tickets through the club you must be registered on or before 31st March! See you on Wednesday night!

Memberships can also be given to Registrar Sean Fearon (07734139040), any other committee member, Paddy Morgan (Spelga Park) or Brian McGreevy (Castlewellan Road) or pay online. No Excuses!

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING INITIATIVE

Clonduff is one of sixty nationwide clubs that have been selected to complete Phase 2 of ‘The Healthy Club Initiative’ aiming to make our club a physically, mentally and emotionally healthy space for all. HILLTOWN 10K RUN/WALK AND 2K FUN RUN - Sunday 2nd April 2017
Have you got your running shoes at the ready??

10K Walk begins at 1pm

10K Run begins at 1.30pm

2K Fun Run begins at 1.45pm

Registration will commence at 11am until 12.30pm on the day at Hilltown INF Hall

Proceeds are in aid of Cruse Bereavement Care in memory of little Ella Trainor and St Vincent De Paul. We hope you all show your support as always. If you are not running/walking you could help with administration, stewarding, teas, sandwiches, biscuits etc – there’s something for everyone to do on 2nd April.

HANDBALL

Well done to Clonduff's Ellen McKay, Ella McCumiskey, Ellen Shields and Evéagh Kelly who attended the Females in Sport Handball Roadshow in Loughmacrory Co Tyrone on Friday 24th March. Ellen Shields won one of the skills competitions. Well done girls and to your coaches and families.

 

HURLING AND CAMOGIE IN ST. PATRICK’S

Many thanks to Ryan Gaffney, the Ulster Hurling Coach who has been running an 8 week course on Tuesdays in the school for P5 Hurlers and Camogs to help develop the skills of our games. A great time was had by all!

 

Hurling / Camogie Helmets
The Club shop is now stocking hurling / camogie helmets for our juvenile players. These will be sold at a subsidised cost of £40 and would make an excellent present for any child aspiring to be the future star of the ancient game.

 

CHILD PROTECTION AWARENESS COURSE - RESCHEDULED!
NOW: Monday 3rd April @ 7pm
All newly qualified coaches and anyone who last did the course more than 3 years ago or anyone who is helping out with a team should make themselves available - Qualification not complete until this part in completed!
