Down GAA lIve streaming - kicks off with Carryduff and Saul

Friday 24th September 2021

With 6 live games on Down GAA TV
It’s last chance saloon for many of Down’s senior football clubs, as they face elimination from the championship this weekend. All the sides that lost last weekend will do battle for a place in Round 3, while winners from Round 1 meet looking to book a cushy spot in the quarter-finals, avoiding the extra Round 3 game.
Five of these senior games will be available for you to enjoy on Down GAA TV this weekend, as well as the intermediate match between Darragh Cross and Liatroim on Sunday afternoon.

You can again start the weekend off right, with a Friday night game streamed LIVE into your living room. What a cracker it promises to be too as last year’s beaten finalists Carryduff take on the 2020 intermediate champions Saul, with the loser facing early elimination and a relegation semi-final. This game throws in at 7.15pm.

The Lineup
On Saturday at 3pm it’s the turn of Mayobridge and Loughinisland to try and preserve their championship interests after last weekend’s defeats. Mayobridge put up a good show against reigning champions Kilcoo, while 2020 quarter-finalists Loughinisland lost out to Ballyholland by three points. Find out on Down GAA TV who can reach Round 3.

The action doesn’t stop there though, as Monday night brings live coverage of Burren v Glenn at 7.15pm. The draw for the next round will be on straight after the end of that game.

There is another Super Sunday bundle available this week with three LIVE games again. Sunday’s coverage on Down GAA TV kicks off with the intermediate clash of Darragh Cross and Liatroim. Both had good wins last time out and will be looking to keep that going and earn a valuable extra week break. At 3pm two more sides off the back of big wins meet in Round 2A, as 2020 champions Kilcoo face Clonduff. To end Down GAA TV’s huge Sunday of action, Warrenpoint and Bryansford will look to bounce back from defeats when they meet at Páirc Esler in Round 2B.
