Hurling: Donegal come out on Top

In Allianz Hurling League Roinn 2B, Mayo's 1-22 to 2-16 victory over Wicklow in Ballina was their fourth in a row and they are through to the final, while Down surrendered their 100% record when going under against Donegal at Letterkenny, 0-17 to 0-14, Lee Henderson slotting three late points for the hosts. Down will now take on Mayo at home next Sunday at 2.30pm knowing that a win would see them through to the final against the same side.
