Samaritans Partnership with the GAA

Tuesday 2nd June 2015

Samaritans and the GAA have teamed up to:

  • reduce the stigma around mental ill-health
  • promote help seeking behaviour among GAA members

Samaritans are offering awareness talk to clubs and also training workshops in emotional support and listening skills. There will also be a poster campaign in clubs encouraging people to talk.

 If your club would like to hold an awareness talk or get involved in a training workshop please contact your  Samaritans Liaison Officer for Down, Lisa Doyle, 07828211668, lisadoyle@btopenworld.com.
