Feile 2017 - As our U14 Hurlers will be representing Down in the National Feile competition in Carlow/Kilkenny/Wexford on the 16th June to the 18th June, the club has undertaken a major fundraising drive to collate the necessary funds that will be required to facilitate this trip. Our team will be hosted by ‘Young Irelands’ of Kilkenny, home of the legendary hurler DJ Carey. Any individuals who are willing to make a donation that will assist in covering these additional expenses, we would very much appreciate it. It is planned to advertise all submitted donations in the Down Recorder and Facebook, the week prior to the team going south with a message of good luck from our sponsors. All donations received will be greatly appreciated and completely confidential. Please contact Niall Magee on 07843911072 or niallm15@hotmail.co.uk

Building on previous years of success, Ballycran are proud and excited to host this year's Romanian Cup on Sunday 28th May. Come and see the hurlers of yesteryear, whilst supporting a very worthwhile cause in St. Josephs GAA Club, Ballycran. Maybe you will see your favourite over 40's 'Legend' from Ballycran, Ballygalget or Portaferry. This is proving to be a very popular event and a great Sunday event to polish off your weekend. Bring the kids, bring friends and your neighbours. The event kicks off at 4.30pm with an under 10 blitz. There will be refreshments, entertainment, a ballot and an auction with all proceeds going to the Helpline's Trip to Romania this July. Please come along and have a 'good oul yellar' from the sidelines and enjoy the craic of the day!

Changing Rooms – must be kept clean and tidy, it is the responsibility of all managers and players to adhere to these rules. Thank you.
