Ulster IFC Semi Final: Glenn 0-07 Magheracloone 0-13

Monaghan champions Magheracloone ran into a 6 point lead before Jack McCartan put a score on the board for the Down side on 21 minutes.  Michael Metzger who finished the game with seven points fired over the opening three scores for the Monaghan side, while Killian Rudden added a point from play on 14 mins. Metzger scored his forth on 15 minutes, with Alan McCahey adding his name to the scorebard on the 20th minute.

Michael Metzger added his fifth from play on 24 minutes to leave six between the sides Glenn 0-01 Magheracloone 0-07.  Cian Lyons scored Glenns second point of the game on 29 minutes but this was cancelled out with an Allan Kierans point from play one minute later.  The last score of the half came from a Joe Sands free for the Down side to leave five between the sides at half time: Glenn 0-03 Magheracloone 0-08. 

In the opening period of the second half the sides exchanged points with Magheracloone score coming from Tommy Freeman, while Michael Turley responded for Glenn.  Freeman and Declan O'Hare extended the Monaghan sides lead to seven points Glenn 0-04 Magheracloone 0-11.  Glenn added another point on the 8th minute to reduce the gap to six.  Over the next 15 minutes both sides exchanged points with Glenns two points coming from Jack McCartan and Patrick Brooks.
