Coiste Chontae an Dúin and the family that is Down GAA are saddened to learn of a number of deaths in recent times.

We were saddened to learn of the untimely death of Bronagh Murton (nee Lynch) of Drumgath, and we extend our deepest sympathy too to her husband Ollie, son Shea, parents Seamus and Veronica, brothers and sisters, Shane, Bridget, Justin, Jackie, Donncha, Karl and Seamus. We also extend our sympathy to the Gaels and the Community of Drumgath at this sad time.

Today we learned too of the death of Dawn Egan of Ballycran after a short illness. Dawn was the wife of Mark, Ballycran Club Chairman and mother of our County Senior Hurler Chris. We extend our deepest and heartfelt sympathy to her husband Mark, sons Patrick, Mark , Chris, daughter Catriona, mother Kathleen, grandchildren, brother and sisters. To the Gaels of Ballycran you are also in our thoughts at this sad time.

We remember too Brian McLaughlin of Burren, Arthur Ruddy Newry Mitchels and Liam McCartan of Canada who also passed away recently.
