Two Down clubs (Eight clubs from across Ulster) received their Club Maith Award from Ulster GAA Vice Chairperson, Michael Geoghegan at an awards event prior to the AIB Ulster Club Senior Football Final.
Having achieved accreditation during in the past 12 months, the Club Maith award makes a clear, proven statement about the quality of these clubs right across five core areas of GAA club business: Governance; Community Engagement; Coaching & Games; Health and Wellbeing and Safeguarding of our Members.
The two Down Clubs Awared were:
Clonduff – Platinum Award
Loughinisland – Platinum Award
