BALLYKINLAR
GAC will host the fifth Bass
Junior Sevens football tournament
this weekend. 28/05/2003
Twelve teams from Ulster will
compete for the Neil Thompson
Memorial Cup and an array of
other prizes this Saturday.
The competing clubs are: Ardglass,
Ballykinlar, Darragh Cross and
Dundrum (Down); Glenravel and
St Agnes (Antrim); Ardmore and
Ogra Colmcille (Derry); Killeavy
and Granemore (Armagh); Castlefin
and Robert Emmetts (Donegal)
and Lisnaskea from Fermanagh.
The sides will be divided into
four groups of three with the
top two from each group going
into the cup semi-finals. The
bottom side in each section
will then contest the shield
competition.

to bottom of the table Ballykinlar
hoping to get the two points
to keep them at the top of the
table two points in front of
St Johns who have a game in
hand. Glenn came away from this
potentially tough encounter
with a 20 point victory. M Lennon
and O Conlan were the chielf
architects of this heavy victory.

Junior Club 'Sevens' competition

County Down club, Ballykinlar
will host an Ulster junior club
football 'sevens' competition
which will be held on Saturday,
May 31st.
The following clubs have received
invitations and, any who have
not replied to date are asked
to do so as soon as possible
to Sean MacCaisin on 07759659088.
The clubs invited are Saint
Agnes', McQuillan's (Antrim);
Killeavey, Granemore (Armagh);
Butlersbridge (Co. Cavan); Ballerin
and Ogra Colmcille (Derry);
Robert Emmet's (Donegal); Ardglass
(Down), Lisnaskea Emmets (Fermanagh);
Aughnamullen and Doohamlet (Co.
Monaghan) and Urney (Tyrone).
The organisers are presently
making preparations for what
should be a very enjoyable and
successful seven-a-side football
tournament involving all the
top junior clubs in the province
of Ulster.
