The Hub Ballykinlar represents far more than a new facility. It is a shared space for participation, wellbeing and learning – rooted in community and built for future generations.

The identity was created to reflect that ambition.

Drawing inspiration from the strength and natural form of the Mourne Mountains, the mark symbolises foundation, resilience and collective progress. The upward forms speak to growth and development, while the grounded base reflects stability, community and belonging.

The Brand

The colour palette aligns with Down GAA while introducing a distinctive visual presence for The Hub itself, ensuring it stands confidently on its own while remaining connected to the wider county.

The tagline “Sharing Grounds, Shaping Futures” captures the spirit of the project. This is a place where communities come together, where knowledge is exchanged, where opportunity is created and had work is rewarded.

The brand has been developed to work across multiple applications – from digital platforms and social media to signage, print and partnership communications. In certain contexts, partner and funder logos will appear alongside the core identity in line with agreed guidelines.

As the development progresses, the brand will continue to grow with it, providing a clear, consistent and recognisable identity for The Hub Ballykinlar.
