GLASDRUMMAN GAC NOTES
1 The Seniors got
back to winning ways on Friday with
a strong victory over Mitchells, their
next game is away to St. Michael's
on Friday 16th May, throw in at 7.30pm.
2 Congratulations to the Seniors who
won the South Down Junior Sevens on
Sunday and now progress to the County
Sevens Finals.
3 The Reserves had no game this week,
their next game is at home to Atticall
on Sunday 18th May, throw in at 6.00pm.
4 The Minors after a lengthy break
play tonight, Wednesday, 14th May,
away to Atticall, throw in at 7.30pm.
5 The U-14s lost out to a strong Longstone
team last Thursday. The team played
well especially in the second half
but Longstone made their scores count
when it mattered. Scorers on the evening
were James Cunningham(2-2), Colm Murphy(0-3),
Ronan Grant(0-2) and Sean Grant(0-1).
They are at home to Annaderg on Thursday
15th May, throw in at 7.30pm. U-14
training has been changed to Monday
evenings at 7.30pm at the Quarter
Road.
6 The U-12s also had no game this
week but next play on Sunday, 18th
May away to Atticall, throw in at
11.00am. Training is each Wednesday
evening at 7.30am.
7 The U-8s training continues at the
Primary School pitch each Sunday at
11.00am.
8 There will be a fund raising Quiz,
in aid the new club minibus, on Friday
23rd May in The Halfway House. Please
show your support on the night as
the minibus is made available to other
important areas of the community.
9 The club's first Golf Classic will
be held this year on Friday 4th July
at Kilkeel Golf Club. The entry fee
is £120 per team of four players.

a tee, green or prize or entering
a team for the competition please
contact club PRO, Liam Cunningham
or any Committee member.
10 New Club merchandise now available,
including new kit bags. Please contact
Terry Joyce for any orders.
11 Bingo as usual on Thursday night
at 8.30 pm in the Clubrooms, the tote
currently stands at £ 7,250.
