2004 Down Senior Camogie Championship final:
Liatroim Fontenoys 2-7 Ballycran 3-3

Liatroim maintain outstanding camogie record 23/10/2003
Liatroim Fontenoys collected their 18th successive Down senior camogie league title at the week-end when they defeated a gallant Conduff side at home on a scoreline of 2-6 to 0-3.
Fionnuala Carr, daughter of former Down All-Ireland and All-Star forward scored all of the Clonduff sides total of 3 points.
The Liatroim club have completed the league and chaampionship 'double' for the 13th successive season in the Mourne county, and have taken 23 league titles in total since their first in 1977.
Interestingly, they are on the look-out for a senior team coach, and would welcome any enquiries for the position. Five of the current Liatroim senior side are in action this Saturday against Clonduff in the minor camogie championship, and a very competitive match is expected between these two great rivals!

Following a close contest with Down's Helen McAleevy at the sport’s 2003 Congress in Arklow last weekend. Miriam, who succeeds Pádhraichín Ní Raifeartaigh, becomes the first ever Offaly person to hold the position. Among the many items discussed over the weekend was the forthcoming alliance with the GAA, as well as next year's centenary celebrations.
It was also agreed that Congress 2004 will go ahead in the CityWest Hotel in County Dublin on February 28th / 29th.
