On Tuesday evening Mayobridge Minor footballers progressed to the next round of
the championship with a comprehensive victory over visitors Teconnaught. Managers,
Pat Grant and Nigel O'Hare had cause for great satisfaction as their young charges
turned in a great team display to which the East Down side just had no answer.
Only two of this minor team are ineligible next year so hopes are high of a great
future for the team.
