Teconnaught Notes 3rd March 2008

*Senior Football; Teconnaught played host to Bright on sunday and ran out winners on a score line 1-7 teconnaught 0-3 bright.The game was played at a high tempo and Teconnaught had good defenders in Seamus Madine and Niall Mullholland ,both had a very sound game,Ciaran Mc Namara worked hard at midfield and Conor Brennan showed some good skill up front as did fellow forward Ronan Sweeney who scored a fine goal.The senior team will open their division 3 campaign with a away match against Glenn on sunday 9 march ,we wish the team every success this year.
*Development committee meeting will take place tonight wednesday 5 @ 8pm .

*Farwell to the 3 W.W.F Wrestlers
The clubrooms will be opened on sunday 16 of march to say bon voyage to players Barry Rogan ,James Pololock,and retired player Brady Murnin who are on their way to Australia on Easter monday.We hope they will a some future date play for Teconnaught ,the chairman and all the club members wish them well on there trip down under .Entertainment and light refreshment will be available on the night,and there will also be some Wrestlers on show at Barry and Bradys request
