Mageean Cup

The Red High had a good win in their first group game in this year’s Mageean Cup when they beat St Pats Maghera by 1-16 to 0-15 at the Dub.
The next game is an all Down affair when they take on OLSP Knock, on the Dub Arena Pitch tonight - Friday (12th), 7pm. The ‘An Dun’ team played OLSP a few years back but this is the first meeting of two Down schools in the Mageean Cup competition.
Both teams are backboned by the county U17s from the last two years (from 6/7 clubs) with several players seeing game time in this years SHC.
