Pre AGM Workshop and Age Grade Meeting

Down GAA is hosting two upcoming workshops in the Burrendale Hotel Newcastle that would be of benefit to your Club for the year ahead : 

Tuesday 15th October @7.30pm Pre AGM Workshop - This is recommended for Club Chairpersons and Secretary's in particular though all Officers are welcome to attend.

Wednesday 16th October - Members of CCC will be in attendance to meet with interested parties in regard to the Age Grades for 2020, this would be an opportunity for people to put forward their ideas on how competitions might be structured. 

As you will know the Clubs of Down have agreed to the Age Groups being at Under 13,Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19, the question remains as to how we structure the competitions on an All County basis and what we offer below 13 do we have competitions based on the Primary School years for example P 1-3, P4-5, P6-7? 

These are all matters we would like to hear your thoughts on.

To allow for as wide a consultative process as possible the following times have been allocated

7.00pm-7.45pm Divisional Committees - Members of East and South Down are welcome to attend to offer their thoughts on the structure of Competitions for 2020.

8.00pm - 8.45pm Club Representatives - Club Officers or Club Coaches are welcome to attend to share their experiences on how they think Competitions could be structured for 2020.

9.00pm-9.45 pm Referees - All  Referees are invited to attend to share their experiences and offer thoughts on how they see the Competitions being structured in 2020.
