St Patricks GAC Portaferry club notes - 24 January 2017

 

Lotto - numbers this week 9, 10, 11, 19. Consolation prize of £30 to Grainne Murray. Next draw date 25/01/2017. Jackpot now £2900. Thanks for continued support, £1 to enter.

 

Fundamentals – continues every Saturday at 3 - 4pm in the Sports Centre. This is for P0 to P3 girls and boys. New members are very welcome. It will be £1, bring a bottle of water, stick and helmet.

 

Ports Do Strictly Come Dancing - this is taking place in our clubhouse on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February. The dancing and practicing is well underway, and once again great shows are guaranteed. It is for over 18s only. Tickets are on sale on Sunday 29th January at 12.30pm in the Clubhouse, tickets are limited to 4 per person.

 

Manager Positions - applications are now welcome for the positions of - Senior Camogie Manager, Senior Hurling Manager, Intermediate Camogie Manager, Reserve Hurling Manager. These are to be left with the Club Chairman, Brian McNally, closing date Friday 27th January. Interviews will take place on Sunday 29th January.

 

Primary School Disco - next Friday night, 27th January at 7pm to 8.30pm. Everyone welcome. £2 admission, or £5 for 3 siblings. It is a good night fun, bring your child along.

 

Entertainment Committee Meeting – is on Sunday 29th February at 5pm in the Clubhouse.  All those people who are interested in joining this committee for 2017 should attend. New faces and new ideas are very welcome. This committee is now chaired by Gillian Smyth and Sean Fitzsimmons. So let’s give them support and help raise funds for the club.

 

Down Club Draw – tickets are now available from any committee member. The club must take 24 tickets, so it would be great if members will purchase these. £10.00 per month.

 

Keys – any club members with keys for the clubhouse please return to Paud Mason ASAP. We are looking to re-allocate and update the register.

 

Best wishes and Congrats to Niamh Mallon, who has been named Down Senior Camogie Captain for 2017. We know that Niamh will do a great job. Good luck to Niamh and the squad for the season ahead.
